Anita McBride Alumni Mentoring Workshop

The Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change will be hosting the annual Anita McBride Mentoring Workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 10am ET via Zoom.

The Anita McBride Mentoring Luncheon is an annual event for EUC students and alumni, historically consisting of a panel presentation and speed networking sessions with alumni mentors. McBride is the former director of the former Faculty of Environmental Studies’ Office of Student & Academic Services. She began working at the Faculty in 1972 and retired in 1999.

This event is open to all Master in Environmental Studies students in the Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change and will once again feature several alumni speakers, networking sessions with mentors and more.

Panelists include:

  • Anique Jordan (MES ’15) Award-winning artist, writer and curator
  • Jason Bevan (MES ’06) Director of City Planning Strategies, City of Mississauga
  • Evans Rubara (MES ’15) Programs and Research Manager, Foundation of ASM Development
  • Rochelle Strauss (MES’94), Director of Education, Toronto Botanical Gardens
  • Tristan Costa (MES ’18), Planner, City of Brampton
