ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Dr. Sarah Bay-Cheng
Dr. Sarah Bay-Cheng is Dean & Professor, School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design at York University. Her research focuses on the intersections of media and performance, including four books & more than 75 articles and essays. Current research focuses on data in cultural arts policy and history.

Sharon Lewis
Sharon Lewis‘ directing work has been well received on premium broadcasters such as HBO, NBC, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, STARZ, FX and every Canadian broadcaster platform. Sharon is well known in the screen industry for her directing flair, distinct cinematic voice, and her ability to inspire award-winning performances from her actors.
