ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Ingrid Veninger
Ingrid Veninger is a writer, director, producer, full- time faculty at York University and Director of the Motion Media Studio at Cinespace. She has produced 15 feature films with premieres at TIFF, Rotterdam, Locarno, Busan, Whistler, Rome, Hot Docs and Karlovy Vary with retrospectives of her work at the Canadian Film Institute in Ottawa and FemCine in Chile.

Nikki Foy
Nikki Foy is a screenwriter and graduate from York University’s Screenwriting program – which welcomes only 10 students annually. Currently a lead writer on Star Wars: Outlaws, Nikki has previously written AAA games (Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs: Legion), mobile games (Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Originals: Interactive Story Series), short films, and sketch comedy.
