Alumni Reception featuring Plug ‘n Drive

Join the York University Alumni community for a reception in partnership with the Faculty of Environmental Studiesat the Plug’n DriveElectric Vehicle Discovery Centre.
Hear from President & Vice-Chancellor Rhonda L. Lenton on her bold vision for York, while networking and connecting with the University community and fellow alumni.
Guests will have the opportunity to test drive an electric vehicle at the Centre, founded by President & CEO Cara Clairman (MES ’93, LLB ’93). Plug ‘n Drive is the world’s first experiential learning facility dedicated to electric cars. Explore how electric cars save money, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and experience top performance.
At the reception, guests will also hear from Jeff O’Hagan, Vice-President Advancement, and Alice Hovorka, dean of the Faculty of Environmental Studies.
