Join the Life & Careers at Toronto Police Services panel discussion and get the inside scoop on what it is really like to work in the police services industry. During this panel, professionals will share their personal stories about breaking into the field, how their career paths took them from graduation to where they are now, what knowledge, skills and experience helped them succeed in their jobs and what types of career opportunities are available at Toronto Police Services. The panel discussion will be followed by an open forum where students will have an opportunity to ask the panelists their own questions.

Meet Vijay Sidhu, a Detective at Toronto Police Services!
Vijay graduated from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 2001 completing the BBA program and worked two years in the private sector upon graduation. Vijay then embarked on his next journey into the world of policing. Vijay has been serving as a Toronto Police Officer now for 20 years and has worked in many areas of the organization from operations, investigations, and administration. In his current assignment, Vijay works in the Audit and Quality Assurance Unit, using his unique work experience and educational background to bring forth recommendations to better the organization.
Vijay will be joined by two Ambassadors for Toronto Police Services who will be able to provide insight into hiring for both uniform and civilian positions.
