Open to all AMPD students, this event is a unique opportunity to gain insight from a seasoned screenwriter about the art and craft of writing for TV in the current marketplace.

Across the Screen is a monthly conversation series that brings accomplished screenwriters and producers to share their experiences, insights, and career journeys. Each session highlights professionals who are shaping the industry in different ways, offering students and emerging creators the chance to learn directly from their paths.
This term, the focus is on international markets — exploring how writers and producers have expanded their work across borders, navigated cultural differences, and built careers on a global scale. The goal is to provide practical advice, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges of working “across the screen,” beyond one’s local industry.
