Academic Integrity & Artificial Intelligence: Where are we now? (Online Workshop)
We invite all who teach at York to join us for an update on how generative artificial intelligence (AI) has evolved over the past year, including an overview of its current capabilities and challenges to academic integrity. We will learn ways to identify and mitigate types of academic misconduct that can occur using these tools, and will go beyond to explore teaching and assessment strategies that can not only support academic integrity but can also help build critical digital literacy regarding generative AI. This interactive session will provide strategies and resources related to generative AI and academic integrity, with the opportunity to explore case scenarios and discuss related approaches with colleagues.
