A Student’s Guide to Plant-based Nutrition

In this workshop we will discuss why some students may choose a plant-based diet. We will also debunk some of the common misconceptions surrounding plant-based diets.

  • What does a well-rounded plant-based diet look like?
  • How hard is it to meet all of your essential nutrient needs?
  • Does plant-based always mean “healthy”?
  • Learn to navigate marketing/labeling pitfalls to maximize your student budget too!

Please note this workshop is for general education only. We do not condone or promote any particular diet or lifestyle. Please consult a physician or registered Dietitian to support your specific needs.
