A Student’s Guide to Nutrition

For students, post-secondary is a period of self-discovery and exploration. This is a period of growing independence and an opportunity for you to begin accepting personal responsibility and making independent decisions, including what you eat.

During this time, have you ever found yourself wondering…

  • What is a “Calorie”
  • What is a “Macronutrient” and how much of each should I be eating?
  • What about vitamins/minerals?
  • Is there any truth to this diet?

If so, join the Health Education & Promotion team as they introduce the basics of nutrition, navigate macronutrients, and discuss various diets.
