Sax Drive at the Absinthe

Sax Drive is a jazz-funk combo that may appeal to fans of Richard Underhill or Medeski, Martin & Wood.
The band’s groove-based aesthetic is inspired by New Orleans street bands, Big Band sax sections, chamber music, EDM and more. Sax Drive cut their teeth at last summer’s HONK! ON festival and at Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market. They have also played at Drom Taberna and the Tranzac Club, and most recently, in their socked feet at a private house concert. They will be wearing shoes at the Absinthe.
