Research Commons – Enhancing the Visibility of Your Research for Greater Recognition (cases in social sciences and humanities discussed)

Are you seeking to enhance the visibility of your scholarship? This practical workshop will focus on strategies and techniques to increase the discoverability of your scholarship on the web. Through this hands-on session, participants will be able to:

create and learn about different researcher IDs such as ORCID, Scopus ID and Web of Science Researcher ID;
create and learn about researcher profiles that can be built on such platforms as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Mendeley and Wikidata; and
learn how to deposit your publications in open access repositories such as YorkSpace in order to increase the reach of your research.

Participants are invited to consider bringing samples of their scholarship to work through the practical segments of the workshop.
**There is an additional optional one-hour for one-on-one consultations with experts from the Libraries. All are welcome to stay and attend.**
