Concert for Peace: Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux and Local Musicians

Phd candidate Stacey Bliss will be playing the symphonic Gong at this upcoming event that she is also organizing. The event is being co-sponsored by YGSE. The event coincides with York University’s annual All Nations Pow Wow with all proceeds going towards supporting Indigenous student initiatives at York University.
Don Conreaux’s first Concert for Peace and Humanity in Canada! Join for an evening of Gong sounds and music inspired and conducted by Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. This is an improvised concert with local Gong players, musicians, and performers. Don begins with Shruti Songs for Peace on the shruti box, followed by an improvised in-the-moment curation of holistic Gong sounds, bowls, drums, and more. Join us at College Street United Church from 7:30-9pm.

Event is by donation to encourage students and folks with limited income to attend. If this is you, please join us, pay what you can. If you are gainfully employed, that is awesome. As a suggestion, $25, if you are able. Your donation will make a difference in Indigenous students’ programs.
