Tree Planting

Regenesis@York, in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability and Facilities Services, is bringing tree planting to the Keele Campus, with funding support from the City of Toronto. Come out, dig in, and help us grow a greener York!

Join the York community for a hands-on tree planting event. It’s a chance to get outside, meet new people, and help make our campus greener and more climate-resilient.

Meeting location: York Blvd and James Gillies Street (east side of the Rob & Cheryl McEwan Building) at 11:30 a.m. The planting will take place beside Boynton Woods, across from York Blvd between James Gillies Street and Keele Street.

What to bring: Gloves will be provided. Wear weather-appropriate clothing (long pants, long sleeves and sturdy closed-toe footwear are recommended) and bring a reusable water bottle.

Tree planting also takes place on Thursday, October 22 at the same time and location.

Spots are limited. Register here.
