Scotiabank Hackathon (Custom Events)

S:\Hacks is Scotiabank x Tangerine’s student hackathon. Established in 2018, we aim to bring together the best and brightest students to work on a major opportunity the Bank could undertake. Curiosity, collaboration, and creativity are the core of S:\Hacks!

Who can join?

Makers, creators, developers, technology lovers, innovators, and hackathon newbies from all educational backgrounds! You must be an undergraduate student graduating in 2026, 2027, or 2028. Feel free to join solo and be placed on an awesome team of 2, or indicate below who your teammate is! (All team members must apply individually.)

When is it?

S:\Hacks 2024 will be taking place from the evening of Friday August 9th to the evening of Saturday August 10th.

Where is it?

On Friday, August 9th we will be virtual AKA from the comfort of your living room! On Saturday, August 10th we will be in person to continue the hackathon. Students are required to join in person and will be welcomed to the Scotiabank Toronto Office to hack away!
