This orientation session will highlight the issues transfer students face as they transition to university, explore strategies for transfer student success, and provide an overview of campus resources that can support academic and personal success at York.
Learning outcomes:
- Participants will be familiar with the prevailing issues faced by transfer students based on academic literature and our lived experience supporting transfer students.
- Participants will be able to apply a range of strategies to support their academic and personal success.
- Participants will identify a range of campus resources that will support their well-being and success at York U.
