Zines for self-expression and activism

Come to the library for this in-person workshop where you will learn about the history of zines and their role in social movements and as a mode of self expression. You will have the opportunity to look at zines from the library’s Archives and Special Collections and then create your own zine! A variety of materials will be provided, but please consider bringing items you would like to incorporate into your zines, such as photographs, pictures, stickers, playlists, buttons, washi tape, stamps and bookmarks.
