Classical Piano Showcase

Canada Music Week (November 19-25, 2023)  is an annual event where music teachers, students and their families gather together in local communities to celebrate Canadian music, culture, and creativity. For the first time, York University’s classical piano area will take part in this celebration of Canadian composers.

The Department of Music’s classical piano students perform music by Alexina Louie, Marjan Mozetich, Nathaniel Dett and many more incredible creators.

Everyone is welcome to come and experience the beautiful diversity of Canadian creation, through shared live musical experiences.
