The program aims to produce graduates equipped to utilize the rich tools afforded by interdisciplinary scholarship in humanities within a broad range of pursuits both within and outside of the university. An explicit focus is on interdisciplinary scholarship in theory and in practice, which addresses critical issues involving western and non-western humanist traditions. Fields of research include: Comparative Perspectives and Cultural Boundaries, Values and Culture, Religion and The Cultures, Technologies and Sciences of the Modern.
