Black Excellence Welcome Event

Dear Students,

The Black Excellence at York University (BE YU), presents its summer Black Excellence Welcome Event on Aug. 16, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. in-person at the University’s Second Student Centre.

The BEYU Welcome Event is designed to celebrate incoming post-secondary students that self-identify as Black. The theme, “BEYU and Getting to Know You,” is aimed at delving into the Black student experience in post-secondary, building personal and professional relationships, and celebrating the achievements of our incoming York students that attending York represents.
