DARE Celebration Event

The Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) is celebrating this year’s cohort of 38 students who received the Dean’s Award for Research Excellence (DARE) this summer, with a special event on Tuesday, October 4 from noon until 2 pm at the Scott Library’s Collaboratory.

Now in its fifth year, DARE awards each student $5,000 and the unique opportunity to work with a LA&PS faculty member on a designated research project. This year’s DARE Research Poster Session and Celebration features diverse projects from students enrolled in the programs that cross the entire spectrum of LA&PS.

The event does not require registration and is open to all
