International Indigenous Student Knowledge Fair

Join us for the Knowledge Fair on December 16 and 17!

This two-day virtual showcase will spotlight and encourage respectful engagement with students on their culminating projects for the International Indigenous Student Exchange Program. This Program is an academic space for dialogue and collaboration between Indigenous students at York and their peers located in Australia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico and the Philippines which took place from September to December 2021.   The sessions covered topics such as Indigenous knowledge systems, language and cultures, the land, gender, disrupting colonial spaces and re-indigenization, spirituality and current issues that Indigenous students and communities face in Canada and around the world.
