You’re in luck! Nursing Students Tutoring, Ambassadorship and Mentorship Programs (NSTAMP) has Peer Tutor positions open.
We are looking for energetic, knowledgeable and team-orientedvolunteersto join us in Winter 2021 term to assist nursing students have a successful experience while at York University. Solidify your own knowledge by supporting students one-on-one, preparing study material and facilitating study sessions!

NSTAMP Peer Tutors are upper-year students who have excelled and completed the course requirement to tutor students who are currently taking the course with an overall of an “A”.
Roles and responsibilities of Peer Tutors:

Must offer drop-in/online sessions for a minimum of 1-hour weekly
Can tutor up to three courses
Must contribute to creating NSTAMP tutoring material (such as mock exam and quizzes) for nursing courses
Must get materials and teaching content approved by course directors and professors prior to publishing online
Actively engage with students and tutees on club Facebook account
1-hour bi-weekly meetings with Peer Tutor Coordinator
Must have an overall GPA of B+ and an A in the course being focused on.
