York-France Engagement Event
York University’s York–France Engagement Event on Friday, March 20 at Glendon Campus will bring together York faculty, researchers, students and external partners for a morning focused on research collaboration with France.

The program includes welcome remarks from York leadership, greetings from Bertrand Pous, Consul General of France in Toronto, an online presentation from CNRS Ottawa, a York faculty spotlight on a CNRS collaboration, and two sessions on research opportunities in France, including funding, support structures and mobility pathways.
The morning will also feature an online presentation on the Ontario/Rhône-Alpes Program, followed by a plenary panel, Making France–Canada Research Work, with York researchers sharing practical insights on building partnerships, creating student research opportunities, overcoming barriers and growing collaborations into larger initiatives. The event will conclude with closing remarks and a networking brunch, giving participants the chance to continue the conversation and connect with colleagues and partners.
