Sensorium is thrilled to present Connected Minds Artist-in-Residence Gala Hernández López’s exhibition of her residency work in the Gales Gallery. Presented as a multi-screen immersive installation, what do dreams see when they look back at us? invites viewers into Gala’s unique artistic perspective on the complex and uncanny topic of dream engineering technology.

What do dreams see when they look back at us? DREAMS OF PROPHETS unveils the silent architecture of the unconscious—mapped, extracted, governed—and offers a meditation on the transformation of dreams in the age of neurocapitalism. The film intertwines spectral visions, mental photographs from the 19th century, and contemporary experiments in mental decoding using artificial intelligence, in order to question the history of dream control technologies and the future of the dreamscape in the era of total capture.
