Webs of Connectivity 2026 AMDP-Sensorium Graduate Symposium
The School of Arts, Media, Performance and Design (AMPD) and Sensorium are pleased to present the 2026 Graduate Symposium Webs of Connectivity on Friday, March 20 at Nat Taylor Cinema. Join us to hear from 12 graduate students who will share their research to peers and faculty and showcase the interconnectedness of arts-based research and methodologies currently explored across AMPD departments.
An experimental collaboration between participants is integrated within the symposium and will result in an afternoon of collective dialogues/presentations exploring the intersections of their work. This session was designed to challenge conventional formats of the traditional symposium structure.
The symposium will also include a panel of cross-disciplinary AMPD faculty, including Syreeta Hector (Dance), Jane Tingley (Computational Arts), Wendy S. Wong (Design) who will speak to the potential of collective and collaborative methods for new modes of knowledge production and dissemination within arts-based research contexts.
The Webs of Connectivity Symposium is an ideal setting to network with graduate students, peers, and faculty, learn about the breadth of research taking place across AMPD, and get inspired by models of interdisciplinary collaboration. Coffee, tea, and lunch will be served for registered attendees.
