Virtual Stretch & Play for Mature and Transfer Students
Take a break from your studies and join us for a refreshing Virtual Stretch and Play Event! This online session, presented in collaboration with SCHW, and Atkinson Centre for Mature and Part-time Students (ACMAPS), is designed specifically for students to help alleviate the physical strain of long hours spent working, studying and/or attending classes.
Our instructor will guide you through a series of easy-to-follow stretches and exercises that can be done right at your desk—including new techniques to support eye health and reduce digital eye strain. Whether you’re dealing with screen fatigue or just need a moment to reset, these simple movements and eye exercises are a great way to refresh your body and mind.
No special equipment or attire is needed—just a comfortable chair and a willingness to move! This event is perfect for students looking to incorporate more movement into their day, reduce stress, and promote a healthier study-life balance.
Please note: although this session is a collaboration with ACMAPS and geared towards mature and transfer students, it is open to all York University students and staff.
