The Indie-Samizdat Publishing Experience Now

B.W. Powe’s Mysteria, Stream Elsewhere Press, and Voices Calling in the Digital Wilderness

Join us for an engaging presentation on Indie Publishing, Stream Elsewhere Press, and the launch of B.W. Powe’s latest collage artefact book, Mysteria.

This event explores what it means to publish a book today—how writing, reading, and circulation happen in the current publishing landscape. We’ll dive into ideas of contemporary Samizdat: the ways books move from person to person, network to network.

The launch will feature readings, dramatizations, music, and reflections from Mysteria—a unique experience blending art, thought, and performance.

Voices including:

Maria Auxiliadora Sanchez Ledesma (speaking in Spanish).

K Powe (dramatizing passages from the poetic-storytelling work).

Visit Eventbrite for further information.

*All members of the presentation are York University Graduates or York Faculty Members

**A co-production with York University Libraries.

***Supported by York University’s Bookstore. Books will be available on site for sale.
