The Ecological Value of Ontario’s Greenbelt

Developed through a collaboration between York University’s Ecological Footprint Initiative and the Greenbelt Foundation, this research highlights the Greenbelt’s ecological value and demonstrates the important benefits it provides to all Ontarians, in terms of both regenerating the natural resources we consume and absorbing the waste we produce.
