Teaching Assistant Certificate in Teaching (TACT) – Winter 2026 Virtual Course

Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to practice and experience different instructional strategies with peers from across the university. Discussion and reflection will centre around the ways in which your instructional strategies are informed by the teaching and learning literature, and the ways you use the strategies intentionally to align with your teaching beliefs and commitments to Decolonizing, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (DEDI) and Accessibility.

The course will consist of five 2-hour synchronous sessions spread between January 13 to March 17, 2026 (details below) via Zoom. Online learning and preparation prior to each session will be required, for a total time commitment of approximately 20 hours.
