Tea Time Talks: Mental Health & Student Well-being

Tea Time Talks is a student-led initiative that creates welcoming and inclusive spaces for students to connect, reflect and learn from one another’s lived experiences. Each session centers conversation, shared reflection and community-building in an informal and supportive environment.

This March session invites students to engage in open and thoughtful conversation about mental health and well-being, with a focus on the everyday challenges students navigate throughout the academic year. Together with Student Counselling, Health & Well-being (SCHW), we will explore how students can better understand their well-being, recognize when support may be helpful and learn about the resources available to them within the York community.

This session is not lecture-based or clinical in nature. Instead, it emphasizes dialogue, practical reflection and accessible conversations around well-being, creating space for students to listen, share and ask questions in a respectful and supportive setting.

Whether you are looking to learn, reflect, or simply be present in a supportive environment, all York students are welcome to join us. Light refreshments will be provided.
