Strategies for Managing Your Research Data
Research Commons is pleased to invite you to a Libraries session titled, Strategies for Managing Your Research Data.
All faculty and research staff are welcome.
Managing research data is becoming increasingly complex for York researchers. Attend this workshop to learn general principles and best practices for data documentation, deposit, and sharing. This workshop will cover the following topics:

Funder and journal data deposit requirements;

Emerging research data management principles;

Strategies to implement data management best practices throughout the data lifecycle;

and York-specific resources and tools for research data management.
Participants will walk away from this workshop with awareness of the changing culture of data sharing, practical resources and tips to implement in their research data management workflows, and templates they can use to begin creating a data management plan for their grant applications. This workshop will be taught by the Libraries’ Research Data Management team.
