Sports Betting: Separating Skill from Illusion of Control

Have you noticed betting everywhere? No seriously—sports betting ads bombard games, online apps tempt 24/7 and youth and young adults face 5X higher problem gambling rates compared to any other age group.

Join YGAP’s (Youth Gambling Awareness Program) “Separating Skill from Illusion of Control” workshop to unpack the illusion, online dangers, ads and safety strategies.

This workshop is being delivered as part of an Impact Research study by York University and Toronto Metropolitan University, and includes a brief pre- and post-survey. As a thank-you for participating and completing both surveys, you’ll receive a $10 Amazon gift card. If you choose to complete the optional 6-week follow-up survey, you’ll receive an additional $20 Amazon gift card.
