Sparkshop: Guiding Graduate Student Writing

Join us for this Sparkshop with Marlene Bernholtz, Associate Professor in the Writing Department. This session will highlight how reciprocal, considerate writing processes, and clear supervisory communication, help graduate students meet academic and developmental goals.

• reflect on the challenges graduate students face when navigating the writing process
• review and receive a copy of the Writing Centre Guide for Graduate Student Support
• consider challenges in the writing process that impact the supervisory relationship
• identify roles and key strategies graduate students can use to support their writing
