Soil, Seeds and Sky: Sensual Care Practice with Plants
Gardening is a multi-sensorial activity through which we (re)connect with plants and the earth. In this interactive hands-on workshop with lively material we will sensually attune to plant pedagogies and plant-thinking to move us toward social ecological aesthetics of care and justice. We’ll get our hands dirty in soil time while gleaning neurological repair. We’ll sift through the power of microorganisms and the stories alive in seeds and we’ll enjoy teas to ingest plant medicines. This studio practice opens possibilities for collaborations with vegetal beings deepening garden practice as political, radical and transformative action.
