Join Dr. Andrea O‘Reilly, Professor in the School of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies on May 14 for Scholars’ Hub. This talk will examine mother-centric feminism and the specific problems — social, economic, political, cultural and psychological — that are specific to mothers and their identity. Dr. O’Reilly will discuss the need for mother-centric feminism and the disempowerment mothers may feel today despite 60 years of feminism.
