[Scholarly Skills Webinar] Into the Archive: Working with Primary Sources
The Faculty of Graduate Studies is hosting a series entitled Scholarly Skills. Join us for our next workshop!
Whether you’re just beginning to explore primary source research, or already deep in the archives and looking for new insights, this webinar is for you!
This session is all about demystifying archival work. For many graduate students, the idea of “the archive” can feel abstract—or even intimidating. What does it really mean to work with primary sources? How do you find them, make sense of them, and use them effectively in your research? And what do you do when things go wrong—or go wonderfully, unexpectedly right?
Hosted by our Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Tokunbo Ojo. The format will be a moderated discussion amongst academic experts, followed by time for your questions.
Date: November 10, 2025
Time: 12:00pm (1-hour workshop)
Location: Virtual Workshop via Zoom Webinar
