This special event brings together Black mature international students who will share their personal stories, lived experiences, and reflections on navigating academic life at York University. Through open and thoughtful dialogue, panelists will explore the intersections of identity, education, and community, shedding light on both the challenges they’ve faced and the successes they’ve achieved along the way.

Attendees will gain meaningful perspectives on the supports that help students thrive, the barriers that persist, and the opportunities for continued institutional growth. Whether you are a current student, a prospective learner, or an ally committed to fostering equity and inclusion, this conversation offers valuable insights and a welcoming space to learn and connect.
