‘Nectar’ film screening and discussion

Join us at 2 p.m. on Oct. 3 for a film screening and discussion of Nectar starring Aruna and Surya Boodram and Shanese Indoowaaboo Steele, directed by Nakita Sunar and produced by Suzanne Narain. This short film touches on the intersections of racism, anti-fat bias and colonialism, and explores liberatory possibilities through alternative narratives and arts. The discussion following the short film will explore these themes further, including how these issues emerge in our institutions, on campus and in our own lived experiences.
