National Day for Truth and Reconciliation University Commemorative Event

The University’s annual commemorative event engages with the theme, “Recentring reconciliation: 10 years after the TRC’s final report and calls to action – what is the path forward?” and invites community members to explore how they can take meaningful steps toward reconciliation. In-person participants will then be invited to Skennen’kó:wa Gamig for light refreshments and a ceremonial fire.

This event is live-streamed. The live-stream link can be accessed from the University’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation website. Livestreams are also being hosted in person at Markham (room 2050) and Glendon (room YHA100) campuses.
