Join us for a three-day colloquium celebrating the 15th anniversary of Christina Sharpe’s Monstrous Intimacies: Making Post-Slavery Subjects. Engage in expansive dialogue on the book’s impact with presenters including Rinaldo Walcott, Canisia Lubrin, Saidiya Hartman, and others. Bringing together junior and senior scholars in Black Studies, the event honours Sharpe’s work as a writer, professor, and Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Black Studies at York University.
