
Mentor Circles | How to get into Finance and Banking Careers
Join us for in-person and informal mentoring session at the Alumni & Career Lounge, York Lanes (opposite the Bookstore). This session will provide students with valuable insights into networking, building expertise in business and financial markets and key professional certifications to land a job.

Alumni Mentors:
Maliha Farhad (BA ’21, MA ‘22), Market Risk Analyst, TD Bank Group. Maliha graduated with a Bachelor of Economics, and followed up with her Masters in Economics from York University. She is a Market Risk Analyst at TD Bank Group. In her role, she’s responsible for monitoring stock market movements and its impact on margin accounts held by TD ultra high net worth clients.
Tinotenda Mutsvangwa (BA ’20, MSTM’21), Financial Advisor, CIBC. Tinotenda is a devoted CIBC Imperial Service Financial Advisor, holding both the (CSC) and (CPH) certifications. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Business Management from Schulich School of Business, Tino combines academic excellence with practical expertise to deliver exceptional financial solutions.
