Free cooking class: Teaching Kitchen x BE YU, celebrate Black History Month and make Saladu Nebbe

Join our Executive Chef and Dietitian Dahlia on campus to learn how to make Senegalese Black Eyed-Pea Salad (Saladu Nebbe) in celebration of Black History Month, in collaboration with Black Excellence at York University (BE YU).

Enjoy a live cooking demo, learn the cultural history of the dish, and take part in meaningful conversations about Black History Month, BE YU, and upcoming workshops. Come for the cooking, stay for the conversation, and leave well fed.
