Elizabeth May on Climate Action: Business and Society Winter Lecture

In this lecture, Member of Parliament and Leader of the Green Party of Canada Elizabeth May will address the loss of momentum on climate change initiatives in Canada. She will consider the following questions:

“Prospective PM Mark Carney had a CV with strong climate credentials – Special Envoy for climate finance to UN Secretary General, his famous 2015 speech to Lloyds of London. After a full year as PM, Canada’s climate strategy is in tatters, climate champion Steven Guilbeault has quit cabinet and PM Carney is pushing pipelines and has increased fossil fuel subsidies. What happened? How do we get back on track?”
