Cultural Expressions of Indigenous Knowledge

The winter is a time when Indigenous people typically tell stories. This is the perfect time to delve into cultural expressions of Indigenous Knowledge. During this 90 minute workshop we will engage with Indigenous story, art and craft. We will also discuss intellectual property, traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions. During the second half of the workshop we will create simple beadwork meant to convey a message. No experience needed.
