Black Talk Real Talk – Markham Campus

This event will be hosted by York Universities’ Black Excellence team. The purpose of this event is to celebrate and highlight the diverse African diasporic languages that have deeply influenced Western subcultures. Through highlighting the rich linguistic heritage and its impact on music, fashion, art, and everyday language, we aim to foster a greater understanding of how African diasporic communities have shaped global cultural landscapes.
