Beyond the Tri-Council: Alternative Grants for Researchers

This session offers a practical look at what it means to pursue research funding beyond the federal Tri-Council agencies. Through a panel conversation with researchers experienced in securing alternative grants, we’ll explore how they identify opportunities, why they pursue them, what the application process can look like and how this type of funding has supported or expanded their work.

You’ll also hear about the support available through York International and SIRI that can help you navigate these pathways.
