Alumni Bio
Kapil is an avid Storyteller, Community Builder, and Podcaster who has been active in telling his stories across Canada for the past few years. Kapil is currently facilitating workshops with high schools and post-secondary institutions across Ontario. The workshops focus on helping students become effective communicators, and will help guide them through the journey of powerful decision making within your career. Kapil is the Community Manager for Staples Canada’s second fully transformational Co-working space in Oakville, ON. Through his role with Staples Canada, Kapil has been invited to many conferences and events to share his expertise and to teach others how to organically build a successful and supportive community in both your personal and professional life. Kapil also runs his own storytelling Podcast called ‘Finding Perspective’, the podcast focuses on interviewing regular people who have gone through some extraordinary life experience with the goal of giving the audience new ideas, new ways of thinking, and new perspectives, and to help people find a way to relate to a complete stranger who they’ve never met by only simply hearing their voice.
During the session Alumni will share:

Their personal career paths;
How their university education is relevant to their particular position;
The realities of sectors they work in;
Tips and Strategies for entering the sector;
Opportunities within their fields;
Resources for connecting with professionals in that field.
