SUMMARY:Point of View Talk with Ecologist Dawn Bazely and Screening of Brakfesten / La Grande Bouffe
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to a special screening and talk next Tuesday, June 2, 6-7:30PM at The Goldfarb Gallery featuring York Biology Professor Dawn Bazely.\nResponding to Anne Duk Hee Jordan: Worlds Away, Professor Bazely will offer insights through the lens of ecology, with a focus on plant–animal relationships and interdependence within natural systems.\nThe program includes a screening of Brakfesten / La Grande Bouffe (2022–23), a film by Anne Duk Hee Jordan and Pauline Doutreluingne. Set in a Swedish forest threatened by Elm disease, the film reveals a fragile ecosystem and highlights the complex relationships among the species that inhabit it.\nThe event will also be part of Toronto Climate Week.\n
