These courses – offered in collaboration with Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences – cover a wide range of topics, including personal growth, mental health recovery and overall well-being. This collaborative approach fosters a supportive, relatable, and empowering learning environment. \nSkill Building\nStarting university is a huge transitional period of life that requires fundamental changes to your lifestyle, building routines from scratch, and it can quickly get overwhelming. In this 4-week series, we will take a look at simple yet effective strategies that can easily be incorporated into daily routines and empower you to feel more in control of your life and confident in your ability to successfully navigate these changes\nWhat will you learn:\nWeek 1 | Self-Care 101: Understanding and Meeting Your Basic Needs\nWeek 2 | How to Make Space and Step-back\nWeek 3 | Managing Exam-Related Anxiety\nWeek 4 |Motivation\nWhile you’re welcome to attend individual sessions, participating in the full series is highly encouraged, as each week builds on the last to create a cohesive and meaningful learning experience.
