DESCRIPTION:All women faculty in STEM fields are invited to a meet-up on Women in STEM: Teaching, Mentorship and Community, co-hosted by Faculty of Health and Faculty Affairs.  Join us for an interactive afternoon to celebrate and support women faculty in STEM – share stories, explore challenges, and build connections around teaching excellence and peer support.\nCome and connect with other women in STEM over a light lunch and share your experiences and wisdom and build an inclusive community, whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned educator!\nThe meet-up will feature a presentation by Professor Rebecca Pillai Riddell about DIVERT ( https://divertmentalhealth.ca/ ) Mental Health and how this transdisciplinary project funded by CIHR equips new and emerging/trainee health scientists with a broad range of knowledges, skills, and mentoring supports to improve inclusivity and accessibility of the traditional mental health system.
